Day 2: Lima, City of Kings and Larco Museum of Cultures


Embark on an exclusive and immersive tour of Lima’s historic center, where you’ll explore and admire the architectural relics of ancient Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The journey begins at the Convent of Santo Domingo, established during the founding of Lima. Here you’ll find the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, the oldest university in the Americas. Inside, discover the oldest choir stalls in the country and a library with 25,000 books, some of which date back to the 15th century. Day 3: From the coast to the Sacred Valley, Inca village of Chinchero and the salt mines of Maras

As you approach, the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, reveals itself with its impressive terraces, staircases, ceremonial sites, and urban areas. The energy of this ancient site is palpable and offers a deep connection to the past. Following a memorable exploration, enjoy a delicious lunch. At the appointed time, return by train and be transferred back to your hotel in Cusco. Day 6: A day visiting the city of Cusco and the archaeological park of Sacsayhuamán

Day 7: Travel from Cusco to the Ica Desert and Huacachina Oasis


Start your trip with a hassle-free transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, transfer and embark on a bus trip to Ica, located 300 km south of Lima, where you will enjoy stunning views of the vast desert dunes. The Ica Desert is famous for its extensive vineyards, which produce some of the best piscos in Peru. Once at the hotel, check in and settle into your comfortable rooms. In the afternoon, explore the captivating Huacachina Oasis, a haven of peace nestled between towering desert dunes. Day 8: Pisco Vineyards and Desert Dwellers Museum


In the morning, around 10:30 a.m., we will visit the Ica Museum, a distinguished cultural site that showcases an extensive archaeological collection, including pre-Columbian mummies, ceramics, and textiles from the Paracas, Nazca, and Inca cultures. The museum also features exhibits of fossils and engraved stones, offering a deep dive into the region's rich history. We will then enjoy lunch at Hacienda Tacama, one of the most renowned pisco and wine estates. Here you will discover the art of pisco distillation, explore the different grape varieties and learn about the origins of this iconic Peruvian liquor. After returning to the hotel, take advantage of its facilities, which include a karaoke bar where you can relax to a variety of songs while sipping Chilcanos and Pisco Sours.


Day 9: Paracas National Reserve and Lima


Early in the morning, we will depart for the Paracas National Reserve. Upon arrival, we will board boats for a one-hour cruise to the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, we will pass by the enigmatic Candelabro geoglyph, full of ancient mysteries. Upon reaching the islands, a haven for wildlife, you will have the chance to see Humboldt penguins, several species of birds and the famous sea lions. With a little luck, we may even see dolphins or whales, which migrate through these waters from May to October. After returning to the dock, we will make a brief visit to the Paracas Culture Museum. Then we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will head to Lima, a three-hour drive away. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the renowned La Rosa Náutica restaurant.
